Lokesh Ananad [Shehnai Artiste]
Born on 13th March 1978 in Delhi Lokesh placed his tender fingers on the Shehnai at the age of 10 under the uncoraging traning of father Shri Kalicharan ji later he under went rigorous training under the renowned Shehnai Maestro Pt.Anant Lal and his Son Pt. Daya Shankar and Pt.Rajinder Prasanna. He has maintained the specialization in Gayaki and Tantrakari both.
He has given many Solo, Duet recitals as well as accompanied artist. Lokesh has performed in various music festivals conferences and perform with fusion and jazz groups in india and abroad including Taj Mahotsav, Agra, Kal ke kalakar sangeet sammelan, Bombay, Vishu Digambar sangeet sammelan, Agra, Swami Hari Das sangeet sammelan, Bombay, Megh Malhar Mahotsav,Lucknow, Automm Festival, Nainital, Nepal Festival in Kathmandu, Bhutan Festival,Thimpu etc,to name a few He has also participated in the national programme of music All India Radio sangeet sabha of AIR Akashwani Sangeet Sammelan and National Programme of Durdarshan with Pt. Anant Lal and Pt. Daya Shankar.
