The basic formal training in Classical Singing i.e. talim commenced at the small age of five under guidance of mother Smt. Vrinda Sarvadikar, who is the disciple of Shri Dattusinghji Gahervar Gharana - Gwalior. Respected Shri Gahervar is disciple of Padmabhushan Swarchudamani Pt. Vinayakbua Patvardhan. The mainstream talim took place under the guidance and support of Shri Dattusinghji Gahervar for a period of 10 years.
Since 2003, Talim continued under the guidance of the esteemed Ganprabha Dr. Prabha Atre, a Padmabhushan awardee. An eminent personality in the field of music, Dr. Prabha Atre has earned for herself a place of distinction as a brilliant thinker, performer, composer and teacher of music. She is one of the senior most, front ranking vocalists in the country representing Kirana Gharana.
