  • Worked as Veena lecturer in Dwaram Venkatswami Naidu Kalakshetram , Visakhapatnam during 1983.
  • Currently on the faculty of department of Music, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hydetrabad (AP).
  • A-Grade artist of All India Radio since 1988.
  • Performed from AIR Hyderabad (1980- 83), AIR, Vishakapatnam (1983 - 93), AIR Trissur (Kerala) (1993 - 97), AIR, Mumbai (1997 - 98).
  • Has been rendering programmes from AIR, Hyderabad since 1998.
  • Performed from Doordarshan, Trivandrum; Currently on the panel of Doordarshan, Hyderabad.
  • Performed in South Zone hook up concert from AIR and Doordarsan, Hyderabad.
  • Performed in Chain booking OB (Open Broadcast) concerts through AIR Vishakapatnam , AIR Vijayawada , Cuddapah and AIR Hyderabad.
  • Ragam Tanam Pallavi concert (OB) through AIR Trissur (Kerala).
  • Given many concerts in renowned sabhas and music organisations in the country.
  • Released audio CDs titled Veena Nadam in 2008.
  • Had been a judge in various music competitions conducted by TV channels ('Paadalani vund'i conducted by Padmasri SP Balasubramanyam in MAA TV, Keertana-Sankeertana conducted by Guru Kondaveeti Jyotirmayee in Bhakti Channel), music associations, schools and colleges.
  • Translated a Telugu book titled "Veena and its Evolution" authored by by Sri. Mudigonda Veerbhadraiah into English.
  • Imparting training in classical music( vocal and veena), devotional and light music.

Awards and Titles

  1. Honoured with the title "Madhura Veenabhashini" by Vishaka District Samskrutika Sabha.
  2. Conferred the title "Madhura Mahati" by Ati Rudra Yaga Cultural Association, Visakhapatnam.
  3. Recipient of "Outstanding Young Indian (OYI)" in 1990 by JAYCEE's of Andhra Pradesh.
  4. Honoured by Kalavani Sanstha, Visakhapatnam in 1998 in recognition of her A grade status of the All India Radio.
  5. Honoured by Sri Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, at a performance in the presence of foreign delegates at Shilparamam , Hyderabad in 1999.
  6. Honoured by Sri K.R. Narayanan, Hon'ble President of India at a concert at Rajbhavan, Hyderabad in 1999 .
  7. Honoured by Padma Bhushan Dr. C. Narayana Reddy in appreciation of her rich contribution to Carnatic Music.
  8. Honoured by eminent flute maestro (Hindustani) Vijayaraghav Rao.
  9. Honoured by Sri Ganapati Satchidananda Swamiji for the concert at DattaPeetham , Mysore during the Dussehra festivals in 2007.
